Scientific journals mark the global scientific process. 


The system of scientific journals is built in two levels. The first level includes
primary research journals, which have a narrow specialist audience, and scientific journals (
with a more general profile, engaging a broader essay assistant scientific and even public interest. This first level with its two groups is included in a second level which forms the global referencing, indexing and evaluation system.


Publication of scientific results in the world scientific periodicals is not yet a claim of the author for an original scientific contribution. This claim is made when the work in question is indexed and refereed in a of the secondary literature. Thus, valuable ideas and new results may remain buried forever if the author has not managed to find the appropriate place for their publication in accordance with the above principle.


In the global referencing, indexing and evaluation system now there are about 75,000 primary scientific journals in all fields of science.


Among them are about 3,000 journals in science education. These journals have been included in this system after rigorous inspection according to various indicators. Each of these journals is required to score prominently in the secondary literature where its articles are referenced and indexed. These lists are often quite long.

SCOPUS offers detailed information about the authors appearing in it - place of work, addresses for correspondence, list of publications together with their citations by other authors, h-index
Thus, anyone can get a clear idea of the scientific reputation of the these authors and their place in the development of their respective scientific fields.


Around 10% of the papers submitted to the global referencing system and indexing are subject to scrutiny and evaluation at the Institute for Scientific Information.


After rigorous inspection, academic journals located there receive several key science metrics each year, which are a mark of their quality and influence definition essay assistance among the scientific community.
